As for the packed column in chemical field, 250X/Y structured packing is mostly used. Mellapak 250X/Y is well known all in the world. Based on all PCC staff’s effort, we developed JKB-250X/Y Packing, which widely used to replace Mellapak 250X/Y. What’s more, the performace is high, and pressure drop is lower.

Following are some technical information for such Structured Packing:
Emboss: Dimple type is widely used, only few clients choose straight line;
Segment or mono: Both are available. Normally, if the diameter is above 850mm, it should be segment type, or else the mono type;
Collar: Welded with the the structured packing;

Angle of inclination of corrugation: 30°(X), 45°(Y)

Material: stainless steel for any standards, carbon steel, aluminum, titanium, wire mesh, further materials are available on request

Installation manual: Available, which is vivid with picture and technical data.

Application of Metal Structured Packing

1. Widely used in basic chemical column;

2. Fine chemical filed like ethyl benzene / styrene, fatty acids processing plant;

3. Petrochemical field, used in oil refinery towers and gas processing plant like vacuum distillation tower,absorption tower, stripper, and natural gas dehydration tower.
